Schiavones Casa Mia was established in 1971. Although Frank and Yolanda were raised in albany, New York, both sets of grandparents immigrated to the United States from Italy. Yolanda learned most of her southern Italian style of cooking from her mother, but it was in the manner of handfuls and pinches. Like most traditional Italian fmailies, Yolanda's love of cooking and Frank's love of eating made for a perfect marriage. When the family decided to open a restaurant they discussed what they wanted their restaurant to personify. They wanted the highest quality of southern, Italian food and outstanding service, but most of all, a warm friendly atmosphere. So you see, Schiavone's Casa Mia is not just a mere business, but a restaurant of sharing with our guests good food, a room of fond memories, and a friendship full of warmth and love.
Schiavones was sold and renamed to Eachie's restaurant in 2008.
Schiavones continues to create and sell it's famous Sauce.
